Coaching Bio

I play C, WA and WD for the Tasmanian Magpies in the Australian Netball League and also captain the F45 Cavaliers. I love private netball coaching and mentoring netballers because I believe that there is no better way to foster passion and enjoyment for netball in others! I am also a fully qualified teacher.

I grew up playing netball with my friends socially and as I got older I came to realise my passion for the game. I believe netball, and sport in general, offers people such a positive purpose to their life and brings like minded people together. I have played and captained Tasmania from U15 to U19 at Nationals. I have been a part of the U17 and U19 Australian development squads and played in the U20 Australian states institutes and academies of sports team. I currently Captain my state league club (the Cavaliers) and play for the Tasmanian Magpies within the ANL. Court hire fee is $30 per hour and is included in the session prices.

Shelby was so friendly and welcoming, and she made us feel comfortable from the start. She had a plan based what we wanted to learn and she was such an amazing teacher! We learnt so many new skills that we have never learnt before, and it was good to practise the skills we had learnt, to get more comfortable with them ...
