Coaching Bio

I have played over 200 games as a premiership player for the Melbourne Football Club, also known as the Demons. AFL is my passion and I am keen to provide coaching to anyone who is interested in increasing their football ability and fitness levels.

Having been involved in AFL for 13 seasons I believe I have a lot of experience to pass on. I am looking forward to giving you personalised AFL coaching and help to support you to take your footy career to the next level. I believe with my experience I can give elite level coaching for all abilities whether that be junior leagues or progressing to the AFL. Away from football I love cooking, football boots and classic cars.

Tom was very friendly and welcoming to my teenage daughter (and family). Tom helped her with her kicking, marking, and agility training. She learnt how to break away from tackles, and other helpful techniques to increase the quality of her game play. Would love to do another session in the new year.

Tom was very friendly and chilled. He provided some good tips on ball drop for improving my kicking. He challenged me to improve my running, citing examples from AFL players. He helped with marking and body positioning under the ball and against an opposition player. Also marking the ball ensuring that you’re holding it tight and taking it forward and away from the defender.
