Coaching Bio
I am a footballer previously from the Sydney Swans Football club. I spent 6 years at the club and managed to play 44 games as a small forward. I received a Rising Star Nomination in 2018 which was my debut year. Along the way I found a passion for coaching and passing on any skills and tips I have learnt. As a coach I look to bring enthusiasm and a wholistic approach for young athletes of all ages and abilities.
I got drafted to the Sydney Swans in 2016 after being forced to enter the system through an alternate pathway to most draftees. Spending 6 years in an elite environment like the Sydney Swans taught me many things and gave me exposure to some of the best human resources in the game. The Swans are widely known for having a great culture and made a grand final whilst I was there. This shows how successful the environment was and how high the standards were set. In recent years I have been lucky enough to travel through rural areas of Sydney running footy clinics for both girls and boys as well as speaking at various primary schools and high schools. I found engaging with young athletes both in an individual and group setting is very rewarding and has definitely sparked a passion in coaching for me. I would love to share what I’ve learnt from both a skill and an attitude perspective to anybody that’s interested. I believe what I have to share can be related to athletes of all ages with a focus on both education and enjoyment.

Ben was absolutely fantastic with my son. My son loved the session and learnt so much from Ben that he can use when he is playing football. Would strongly recommend Ben to any junior wanting to take their football to the next level. I will definitely be booking a few more sessions with Ben. A+
