Coaching Bio

I started my volleyball playing journey in Bendigo playing Spikezone for my primary school and haven’t stopped since. I’ve played overseas in Sweden for the 2022/23 season, having also played for Melbourne Vipers and NSW Phoenix in the Australian Volleyball League, and played in the Victorian Volleyball League at the premier 1 level for 8 years. I am still training and playing 5 days a week while working at Huntingtower School as the Head Coach of Boys Volleyball.

As a coach, I’ve been heavily involved in the sport for the past 7 years. My first major coaching role was as an assistant coach for the U19 White Victorian Team in 2016. I have since been a head coach at the state team level, helped introduce and develop a volleyball curriculum at a school in Bendigo, been the First's boys coach at Caulfield Grammar School, and been the Head of Boys Volleyball at Huntingtower School since 2018, with multiple undefeated school seasons across different teams and different schools. With a range of high level volleyball experiences from a broad selection of great coaches, my own practice has grown and developed, and is something I continue to invest in. I also currently hold Volleyball Australia recognised coaching qualifications, and pursuing further study. My coaching practice is about pursuing growth, excellence will come through development and improvement. I can offer my experience and knowledge to athletes interested in growing as an individual on multiple levels; as a student of the game, as a well rounded person and of course as an aspiring and ambitious athlete. As a player I have experience as a Middle, Opposite and Pass Hitter, all at national league levels across Australia and Sweden: 2016 - 2021, 2023 - 2025 Australian Volleyball League Player, University Blues, Melbourne Vipers (Bronze 2019), NSW Phoenix 2022 - Victorian Volleyball League, 2nd in MVP 2022 - 2023 Sweden Elite Series Player, 8th in scoring Please note - For in person training, you will need to book and pay for court hire with the hirer at the venue of your choice
