Coaching Bio

I am a current player for the PNG Barramundi National Cricket Team and have moved to QLD to play and coach with the Sunshine Scorchers this season. I have 14 seasons of Sydney 1st Grade Premier Cricket experience, represented PNG around the world since 2012 including two world cups and have over 8 years of coaching experience with my level 2 accreditation. I’m passionate about developing the next generation of cricketers with the tools and experiences I’ve gained under some of the best players and coaches around the world through my sessions that encourage positivity, mutual respect and understanding.

From playing junior country cricket in NSW to playing 1st Grade in Sydney and then transitioning into International Cricket for PNG, I have been blessed to gain knowledge from a range of players and coaches around the world that has given me a holistic perspective of the skills and attributes required for improving young and upcoming cricketers both on and off the playing field. I’m flexible in my approach to coaching and adapt my sessions according to each individual, which I believe is paramount as cricket is a sport where each player has to bring their portion for the team to succeed. I love seeing cricketers enjoying their training and successes, as well as developing them to understand and embrace the challenges the game often presents.
