Olympian and Australian middle-distance runner based in Brisbane. 3000m steeplechase specialist, World University Champion, and 5th all-time in Australia. I have experience helping young athletes grow their confidence, skills, and love for the sport, creating a positive environment where they can thrive and perform at their best.
I have been involved in athletics my whole life, from my first primary school cross-country races to competing on the world stage in the 3000m Steeplechase. Running has given me incredible opportunities, from becoming an Australian Champion and World University Champion to representing Australia at multiple World Championships and at the Paris Olympic Games. My journey has taught me resilience, discipline, and the value of long-term development, lessons I now pass on through coaching. As a Level 2 Athletics Australia Club Coach with six years of experience, I have worked with school-aged athletes aa well as providing online programming. I believe running is a lifelong sport, and helping athletes develop a positive relationship with it from an early age is something I’m passionate about. Whether it’s a young athlete learning the basics, a high school runner aiming for nationals, or an adult discovering the joy of structured training, I love tailoring programs to suit individual goals and abilities. My coaching specialisations include middle-distance events, steeplechase technique, and mindset development. As an Olympic steeplechaser, I have extensive experience with hurdle drills and technical aspects of the event. Beyond physical training, I focus on helping athletes build confidence, set goals, and develop the right mindset for success, whether that means chasing personal bests or simply enjoying the process of improvement. Through coaching, presentations, and one-on-one mentorship, I aim to inspire the next generation of runners and help them unlock their full potential.
