I started coaching because I wanted to help athletes develop and achieve what they want to achieve in the AFL. I have been coaching since 2007/08. I have been the Senior Runner for the Brisbane Lions (2009/10), Bench Coach, Runner and Part Time Academy Ruck Coach at the Gold Coast Suns in NEAFL / Academy (2014-2017), Senior Assistant Coach at the Darebin Falcons VFLW (2019-2020), Sherwood QAFL Assistant Coach 2021-2022, Carlton Blues AFLW (2022) and Western Bulldogs AFLW 2023-present. I have coached 14 athletes who have been drafted into the AFLW and 3 boys who have been drafted to the AFL. As a player I played for 12 seasons in the NEAFL/QAFL and played ruck, in the backline and quite often as fullback/HB. I loved mentoring the younger players and enjoyed the challenge of team sport.
