I have spent my lifetime in Rugby League through a playing career of 15 years and a coaching career of 11 years within the NRL. Across stints at clubs within the NRL and Super League competitions, I accumulated just under 300 games.

My playing career spanned 15 years having made my debut as a 17-year-old in the NRL. Across stints at clubs within the NRL and Super League competitions I accumulated just under 300 games. Upon retirement, I became the foundation Head Coach for the Northern Pride in the QLD Cup. We achieved immediate success with 7 non-contracted NRL players playing for NRL teams in year 1 before culminating in reaching the Grand Final in year 2. Upon completion of the season, I became the Assistant Head Coach at the Newcastle Knights. In year 2 we made the Semi-Finals before a change of Head Coach meant I moved to Canberra to take up the Role of Toyota Cup U/20’s Head Coach along with the Education and Welfare officer. We reached the Grand Final in Year 1. I was subsequently promoted to the Assistant Head Coach role and spent a short time in the Interim Head Coach role before the appointment of Ricky Stuart as the Head Coach. A stint of 5 years followed with the National Rugby League as a consultant with the main role focussed on coaching and evaluation of the Match Officials. In this role I would attend up to 4 live games per weekend and deliver video and written assessment pre and post games. My biggest thrill as a coach has been watching players and referees become the best they could be, achieving at times success beyond expectations. **Please note: I travel between the Gold Coast and Singleton so can accomodate between and around these areas.
