I have nearly a decade of experience as a 100m/200m sprinter, and have competed in multiple State and National Championships. My focus as a coach is to create a warm environment and to help people have fun and enjoy athletics. In doing so, I aim to act as a positive influence in the lives of young athletes, and to inspire a long, and prosperous career in track.
I am excited to share my knowledge and experience of track and field with aspiring athletes as a coach. My attention to detail and passion for the sport will ensure success for athletes of all ages and abilities both on and off the track. As a coach, I specialise in sprint training (100/200/400m), distance running (800m+), relays, and long jump and focus on acceleration, max velocity and speed endurance. As well as power, and speed development. My sessions are specific to the individual needs of each athlete and their respective disciplines. I also conduct modified sessions relevant to athletes pursuing other sports.

I have been seeing coach Lachlan for several sessions now and each session I notice progress and improvement in my sprinting/running abilities. Lachlan enforces the importance of warming up, learning correct technique and maintaining good form. I could not recommend Lachlan and his coaching services enough.
My daughter enjoyed her one on one session with Lachlan. She was shown new drills which she found helpful. Jumping over the short hurdles with one foot. Starting starts with legs cross on the floor.
