As a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time world record holder, my journey in the pool is a testament to resilience, determination, and the unbreakable spirit of Australia. From 2017 to 2019, and again from 2022 to the present, I've had the privilege of representing the Australian Senior Dolphins on the world stage.

After an unjust break in my career from 2019 to 2021, I faced the toughest challenge of my life. Yet, in true ‘Shayna’ style, I refused to give up. I fought relentlessly to return to the sport that fuels my soul, and in 2022, I made my comeback count, winning Gold, Silver, and Bronze at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games. ​ In 2023 and 2024, I proudly stood alongside my incredible Australian teammates to become a 4-time World Champion. Most recently, I secured a win in the women’s 50m freestyle at the Australian Swimming Trials, with my eyes now set firmly on Paris 2024. ​ Yet, my journey is about more than just swimming. Beyond the pool, I'm driven by a passion for making a positive impact. I believe in the power of connection, authenticity, and staying true to who you are, no matter the challenges. Whether I'm working with brands, engaging with communities, taking part in unique challenges like SAS Australia and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, or mentoring young athletes, my mission is to inspire others to chase their dreams with courage and conviction. ​ I’m deeply aware of the influence that comes with being a high-profile athlete, and I embrace this responsibility wholeheartedly. I aim to use my platform not just to promote products but to drive meaningful change. As an ambassador, I align with companies and initiatives that prioritize sustainability, inclusivity, and the empowerment of the next generation.
